August Kamp is an actress, known for The Sleepover (2012), Fairest of the Mall (2014) and Best Friends Whenever (2015).
August Kamp stars as aspiring inventor Barry, a teen genius whose invention enables Shelby and Cyd to travel back and forth in time, in Disney Channel’s comedy series “Best Friends Whenever.”
Raised in Denver, Colorado, Kamp began acting at age two. By the age of ten, she was chosen to perform an opening skit for popular comedian David Cross in front of 3,000 people. Her television credits include guest appearances on “Henry Danger” and “Deadtime Stories.” She also had a recurring role as a panelist on Beck Bennett’s (“Saturday Night Live”) popular web series.
When she isn’t performing, Kamp enjoys writing scripts, poetry, and short stories. She also loves to rap, draw, make movies, and chat about science.
Kamp currently lives in Los Angeles with her family and two cats, Sadie and Cinco, and Chihuahua, Maynard.
